The Department of Pathology is seeking an experienced Transfusion Medicine specialist to join our clinical laboratory, which includes a tertiary care center blood bank, immunohematology reference laboratory, apheresis service, and cellular therapy laboratory. Abundant opportunities to develop and/or participate in basic, applied, and translational research programs exist within the Department of Pathology, which has over 214 faculty and consistently ranks in the top 10 nationally for NIH funding. The laboratory serves patients and world-class providers at Michigan Medicine Health as well as patients referred through our national reference laboratory service, MLabs.
