This position is located in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. As the Supervisory Medical Technologist for the Microbiology Section, the incumbent has responsibility for a staff of non-supervisory personnel including GS-9, GS-10, and GS-11 Medical Technologists. He/She works independently providing operational and technical oversight for the section and is directly accountable to the Laboratory Manger.
