PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident
Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) are well known for antimicrobial stewardship and the treatment of infectious diseases (www.unmc.edu/asp). The PGY2 ID residency at Nebraska Medicine is designed to prepare each resident to enter a position as a well-qualified clinical pharmacy specialist in a health-system or a clinical faculty member at a college of pharmacy specialized in the treatment of infections. Required rotations for the infectious diseases residency include Antimicrobial Stewardship – both Institutional and Outreach, teaching rounds on the General Infectious Diseases consult service (3 months), Solid Organ Transplant Infectious Diseases, Oncology Infectious Diseases, Or
