This nursing assistant position is located within the Omaha VA Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This position will provide perioperative surgical care and support to veterans in the adult to geriatric populations while working underneath the direction of a Nurse Manager. Basic Requirement. To be at least minimally qualified for the nursing assistant occupation in VA, applicants must have completed at least one of the following: General Experience: Six months general experience. Experience must demonstrate the ability to acquire the knowledge and skills to perform the work of a Nursing Assistant.
