Transfusion Safety Officer - Blood Bank
JOB DESCRIPTION The Transfusion Safety Officer (TSO) will collaborate with the Transfusion Services Manager, Transfusion Medicine leadership and UTMB Hospital Quality to ensure that patient blood management and transfusion-related activities are monitored and conducted in the safest possible manner to meet or exceed all existing standards of practice at all four of the UTMB campuses. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Science, Basic Science or related field Must have two (2) years related experience LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OR CERTIFICATIONS Required:
