Lead Medical Technician - Phlebotomy
This position is located in the Specimen Procurement & Processing Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. The Lead Medical Technician works with the Phlebotomy Supervisor and other team members to ensure task completion and provides service to meet program and production goals. Minimum Requirement: Specialized Experience (GS-06): You must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience performing technical medical laboratory support work such as performing laboratory tests and examinations (chemical, microbiologic, hematologic and blood banking) and preparing reports of findings; o
