This position is located within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The Medical Technologist (Hematology Technical Specialist) acts as a technical consultant in a clinical laboratory setting. Maintains the laboratory's hematology and coagulation program and ensures monitoring of components and department compliance. Interacts with management officials and vendors providing hematology and coagulation testing. Monitors laboratory accreditation for the subspecialties assigned.
