The incumbent serves as a Lead Technologist in the Chemistry Lab section of the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service in the VA Maryland Health Care System. The Lead Technologist will work in collaboration with team members and supervisory staff and will be responsible for all aspects of operation in his/her lab section. This will include but is not limited to preparation and maintenance of record and reports, analysis of testing. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
