The Department of Laboratories at Seattle Children’s Hospital is recruiting a full-time transfusion medicine/apheresis physician faculty member (MD, DO, or MD/PhD).  We seek an outstanding apheresis/transfusion medicine physician who demonstrates excellence in clinical care, translational research, and education. The successful candidate should possess strong interpersonal and managerial skills. Responsibilities include serving as apheresis facility medical director for hematopoietic progenitor cell and immune effector cell collections; oversight/consultation for apheresis procedures; education of trainees; and transfusion medicine and coagulation related consults.
