SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Join our healthcare team as a skilled Medical Technologist specializing in Blood Bank. Your role will encompass specimen processing, high complexity testing, and managing blood products to ensure safe transfusions. You will be expected to execute laboratory tests, compatibility assessments, and inventory management with precision and adherence to protocols. Collaborate with medical staff, maintain accurate records, and stay updated on transfusion medicine. Your certification, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will contribute to our mission of providing high-quality patient care while managing blood supplies effectively.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Bachelor's degree with a major in biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory science.
Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
Strong knowledge of blood bank testing procedures, methodologies, and best practices.Â
Familiarity with relevant regulatory guidelines and quality control standards.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Â
