Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

In this role, you will:
- Exercises independent judgment in dealing with procedural and technical problems.
- Conducts chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine presence of normal and abnormal components and releases results to referring client.
- Makes cultures of body fluid and tissue samples to determine the presence of bacteria, fungi, parasites, or other microorganisms and releases results to referring client.
- Studies blood cells, their numbers, and morphology.
- Performs blood group, type, and compatibility tests for transfusion purposes.
- Analyzes test results, enters micro and blood banking results into the information system for storage, and releases results to referring client.
- Analyzes samples for chemical content or a chemical reaction and determine concentrations of compounds such as blood glucose and cholesterol levels and releasess results to referring client.
All you need is:
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Laboratory Science or equivalent under the 1988 Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) guidelines of high complexity testing.
- Completion of a Medical Laboratory Technician program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).
- State licensure, if applicable.
