The Lead Medical Technologist develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates, and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results. The incumbent carries out all of the testing responsibilities of a fully performing Medical Technologist in addition to professional oversight responsibilities for multiple automated analytical systems and/or multiple laboratory testing sections.
