Job Board

In need of a basic Immunohematology/Blood Bank instructor who can teach a Medical Laboratory Science Certification Preparation course. Approximately 20-30 hours of course development. The instructor will be able to develop:

Teaching curriculum (Requirements)

• Develop 2-3 hours' worth of content in PowerPoint to align with ASCP Board of Registry requirements based on knowledge of expertise.
• Create course overview and learning objectives.
• Create sample test questions based on Board of Registry criteria.
• Participate in student FAQ session (quarterly) via Canvas Learning Management system (1 hour).
• Interactive Activities and or Methodologies (15-minute duration). 
• Develop student Pre-reads and Videos (3-4 documents).
• Student Evaluation Formats (1 required).

Suggest relevant materials and documents to be utilized in the MLS Resource Center

• Case Studies (2-3 preferred)
• Videos (2 preferred)
• Reference journals and/or books (3 preferred)

Previous teaching experience is a plus. Experience can be in a hospital setting or in academic environment. This is a remote position.
