In need of a basic Immunohematology/Blood Bank instructor who can teach a Medical Laboratory Science Certification Preparation course. Approximately 20-30 hours of course development. The instructor will be able to develop:
Teaching curriculum (Requirements)
Develop 2-3 hours' worth of content in PowerPoint to align with ASCP Board of Registry requirements based on knowledge of expertise.
Create course overview and learning objectives.
Create sample test questions based on Board of Registry criteria.
Participate in student FAQ session (quarterly) via Canvas Learning Management system (1 hour).
Interactive Activities and or Methodologies (15-minute duration).
Develop student Pre-reads and Videos (3-4 documents).
Student Evaluation Formats (1 required).
Suggest relevant materials and documents to be utilized in the MLS Resource Center
Case Studies (2-3 preferred)
Videos (2 preferred)
Reference journals and/or books (3 preferred)
Previous teaching experience is a plus. Experience can be in a hospital setting or in academic environment. This is a remote position.
