The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is recruiting a Transfusion Medicine Physician to join the blood bank and transfusion medicine service. The successful applicant will also receive an academic appointment at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), at the rank of Assistant Professor. BMC’s blood bank laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies (AABB), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT).
