Position:
The manager will focus on the staff performance of key metrics for the OKC mobile operations. The manager will implement programs to ensure individuals achieve goal for key metrics. Success will be realized with acceptable metric rates for RBC loss, RBC conversions, Global Blood Fund, Deferrals, in addition to excellent customer service, both internal and external.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain primary skills for key donor services collection tasks and maintain a good working knowledge of all Donor Services SOP's
Ensure staff compliance to all SOP's
Develop and implement specific plans to achieve outstanding results in RBC loss rates, RBC conversions and Global Blood Fund
With the Donor Services Director, develop and implement processes to ensure a great experience is achieved for each donor
With the Donor Services Director, develop and implement processes to support HEART and a positive team dynamic with high morale and low turnover rates
Assist with QIR tasks as needed
Ensure all staff review, understand, and sign monthly score cards. Develop individual plans as needed when scores are below standard
Work collaboratively with the Donor Services Director of Quality Assurance & Operation Support for error identification, trending and corrective actions as needed
Work collaboratively with the Automated Coordinator to ensure conversion and machine turn rates are achieved
Work collaboratively with the Training and Education department as needed to support and improve key metric performance
Perform frequent mobile visits to observe staff performance and support key initiatives, completing the observations checklists
Perform and assist the Donor Services Director with staff corrective action plans, coaching and counseling and the annual review process
Support and perform interviews as needed to ensure high quality staff hires with focus on donor experience and quality
Maintain knowledge of the staff scheduling module and act as the backup person to create and publish the staff schedule
Perform duties of the Director of Donor Services Collections in their absence
Rotate taking staff on call responsibilities to include temperature control management if applicable
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in work experience
Minimum of three years supervisory or management experience, blood bank focus helpful
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
CPR certified
Strong leadership, customer service, technical and organizational skills
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Excellent excel and power point skills
Ability to track and trend data and implement appropriate action based on analysis
Diplomatic interpersonal style with excellent conflict resolution techniques
