OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTSLoyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a Transfusion Medicine Pathologist who is ABP Board Certified or Board Eligible in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine to join the Department of Pathology located in Maywood, Illinois.Responsibilities include serving as an attending physician who has the knowledge and skills in all technical and regulatory aspects of transfusion medicine.Annually, the laboratory is responsible for over 50,000 transfusions, nearly 1,000 therapeutic apheresis procedures, and supports all quaternary services including Level 1 Trauma as well as active and growing Hematology/Oncology, Maternal-Fetal-Medicine, stem cell, solid-organ, and tissue transplantation programs.Candidates should have experience in
