SUPERVISORY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST - ANCILLARY & PROCESSING
This position serves the Salt Lake City George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center and its affiliated Community Based Outreach Clinics (CBOCs). The Lab Point of Care Coordinator and Processing Supervisor is a position within the Clinical Laboratory that is responsible for the coordination of point of care testing (testing outside the physical confines of the main laboratory), along with the direct supervision of specimen processing staff. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency: MTs must be proficient in spoken and written English in accordance with chapter 2, section D, paragraph 5a. Education and/or Experience Combination: A bachelor's degree
