The position serves as a Medical Technician located in Laboratory Service at the VAMC Salt Lake City, UT. The position performs Phlebotomy, specimen testing, storage, and shipping of specimens, as well as various clerical duties for Laboratory Service. The position performs CLIA waived point of care testing. ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), No person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
