This position is located within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System in Reno, NV. The work is a combination of phlebotomy duties and moderate complexity testing under the supervision of a supervisor or medical technologist in the outpatient, inpatient, and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) locations. To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria: ENGLISH LANGUAGE Proficiency: In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), No person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
