Employees at this level serve in an entry level MT career development position practicing under close supervision of an MT at or above the full performance level. The work performed is in a variety of laboratory disciplines, such as bacteriology, chemistry (including endocrinology and toxicology), molecular biology, coagulation, hematology, immunology, immunohematology (blood banking), parasitology, mycology, serology, urinalysis, distribution and reference testing (shipping and receiving).
