The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB) is seeking an ambitious Biotherapies Sales & Business Development Manager to oversee the generation of biotherapies revenue through the sale and promotion of the AABB’s products and services advancing the cell therapy, gene and cell therapy, and regenerative medicine fields. This is a full-time, remote position that requires the ability to travel up to 50%. As the Biotherapies Sales & Business Development Manager, you will develop and implement all institutional recruitment and retention efforts consisting of various strategies and tactics including research, prospect development, lead generation and follow through via outreach, special events, trade shows, and other strategies that contribute to ROI. You will develop new prospects and interact with existing clients to increase revenues and share market intelligence. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will also inform and support message developments and marketing campaigns.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience in biotherapies and three years of experience in a sales or business development position. This position requires strong scientific background with deep knowledge of industry trends and proven experience in successfully leading complex projects through to completion managing both internal and external resources. Bachelor’s degree is required; life sciences field or an advanced degree is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirements.
