Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center's Frank and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center in Wilkes Barre is scheduled to open in Spring 2022.This 92,00 square foot, 4 story expansion combines leading edge cancer treatments, compassionate and skilled doctors and the latest technology, keeping patient care close to home. The brand new 18-bed inpatient unit is uniquely designed for those recovering after a bone marrow transplant, and features finely controlled heating, ventilation, and air conditioning to adapt to each person's needs.Do you have experience in direct patient care, personal care, home health or nursing support? If you have minimal experience, Geisinger will provide hands on paid training.Responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of clerical duties and direct patient care activities, depending on the need of the unit. The performance of these tasks in an efficient and timely manner is essential to enhance the care team's ability to provide quality care. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range in their assigned clinical area.
Job Duties
Work is typically performed in an office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Position Details
This is a full-time position; (3) 12 hour shifts per week, 11:00am - 11:30pm
Minimum pay rates begin at $15.00/hour (negotiable with experience)
Increased shift differential $2.50/hour weekdays $3.00/hour weekends
$1,500 Hiring Incentive for eligible candidates
This is a dual role - Direct Patient care and Clerical duties
Every other weekend and holiday are required
