Medical Technologist is a generalist in medical technology with responsibility for performing procedures in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Serology, Specimen Receiving and Send-Outs. The generalist medical technologist rotates with other generalists on a regular basis through the above-mentioned areas. The specialty/medical technologist is assigned only to a specific department and will rotate with other specialty technologists within the department.
