Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Laboratory Scientist II for Morristown Medical Center in the Lab - Transfusion Services department to work 11pm to 7am five days per week and every third weekend.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:

• Perform ABO/Rh type, antibody screening, antibody identification, compatibility testing, component storage, preparation and issue in trauma center blood bank

Minimum Education Required:

• Associate's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree preferred. Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary; new graduates welcome
• Blood Bank experience preferred
