Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Per Diem Medical Lab Scientist I in the Lab- Transfusion Services at Overlook Medical Center to work from 3pm - 11pm or 11pm - 7am Monday - Friday and weekends as needed.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities of Position:
Perform Laboratory testing in the Blood Bank and report results according to the SOPs
Operate, maintain and troubleshoot analyzers and equipment
Perform quality control, calibrations and correlations
Maintain supply inventory
Provide Laboratory information to others on the patient care team
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology
ASCP Certification preferred or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification
Blood Bank experience preferred
