Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Medical Laboratory Scientist for Morristown Medical Center lab Transfusion Services working varied shifts.

• Perform ABO/Rh type, antibody screening, antibody identification, compatibility testing, component storage, preparation and issue in trauma center blood bank.

Education:

• Bachelors degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution highly preferred (new grads welcome to apply!)
  Or
• Associates degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution and 3+ years of experience
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
• Foreign graduates require equivalency evaluation documentation

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Blood Bank experience preferred
• Must have strong communications skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player
