The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a full-time academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level to serve as an Associate Director of Transfusion Medicine. The academic appointment may be in the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical or Clinical X series, depending on experience and extent of research effort. Both HS and Clinical X faculty provide patient care; teach fellows, residents, and medical students; perform public and University service; and contribute to scholarly activities, but Clinical X faculty are expected to conduct more substantial research. Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, be eligible for a California medical license, and have board certification/eligibility
