VISN 22 Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (PALMS) encompass the eight consolidated laboratories located at specific VA facilities within the VISN located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, VA Medical Center (VAMC). The incumbent has full supervisory responsibility in a high complex laboratory performing bacteriology, mycology, mycobacteriology and molecular infectious disease testing.
