The Clinical Program Manager (CPM) is primarily responsible for providing innovative leadership and management of clinical and select administrative operations. The CPM will work across disciplines to develop, support, implement and evaluate effective care strategies to improve health outcomes. They will also demonstrate the ability to provide strong and consistent direction for direct reports in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating program operations. This position is responsible for duties that include but are not limited to the following: to maintain the program to meet all national standards and requirements of accrediting organizations including collection and reporting of data, to conduct an annual program evaluation and provide reports as designated, supporting communications activities, serving as the program representative at meetings, and establishing and maintaining partnerships to advance the program, and to maintain shared fiscal accountability with program leadership in the development of annual budgets, managing and providing variance reporting, payroll documentation, capital budget development, and revenue stream analysis.
Essential job functions include performing Therapeutic Apheresis procedures, care coordination, operational oversight, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, clinical support and supervisory components.
- EDUCATION - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) & Master’s Degree in Healthcare and related field preferred.
- EXPERIENCE – Three years clinical nursing experience which includes demonstrated experience in a leadership role over a clinical team.
- CERTIFICATION(S) - Registered Nurse; BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire.
- Experience in Therapeutic Apheresis preferred, pediatric experience is highly desirable.
