Job Summary: The Lead Clinical Technologist is responsible for performing, evaluating, and reporting of technical laboratory procedures on patient specimens for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Follows established procedures to ensure laboratory quality control and compliance with professional standards of practice. Responsibilities: Under supervision of Blood Bank Medical Director, Manager and Supervisors, performs and/or assists in performing all approved serological testing in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures; completes all required documentation and performs all required quality assurance/CQI procedures. Performs appropriate RBC antigen (e.g., ABO, Rh, etc.)
