This position is part of the Puget Sound VA Health Care system and is located at the Seattle VA Medical Center. The Medical Technologist may be assigned to any division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and performs a full range of laboratory procedures in the areas of chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, serology and/or immunochemistry. Duties include, but are not limited to: Schedules and prioritizes laboratory testing to meet provider demands as well as to accommodate the extreme emergency testing required by the emergency department, surgery, and intensive care units.
