Lead LPN/LVN (IV TEAM)
The LPN/LVN is a member of the IV Team, (IVT), as part of the Comprehensive IV Therapy Services within Inpatient and Emergency Services Division. The role of the LPN/LPN in the acute care setting is in serving as an expert in the clinical care coordination of IV therapy and blood draws. Coordination of IV therapies requires verbal and documented clinical findings in the patient record to include recommendations for appropriate IV access type. 1. The LPN/LVN is a member of a specialized IV T earn {IVT) within the Inpatient and Emergency Services Division that provides independent consulting and services to care teams on the inpatient wards; including all Medical/Surgical Acute Care units, a combined Medical, Surgical, Cardiology, Pulmonary Critical Care Unit, and the Acute Inpatient Psychi
