Responsible for enhancing, maintaining and troubleshooting AABB’s Association Management System (AMS) as well as other database systems, including NBE, West Nile and Zika. Use SQL to search, update and report on the database, manage specialized applications built for AABB, create reports using Crystal Reports and other tools, and fine tune the database for optimal operations according to ISO and AGILE best practices for database management. Improve systems integration with central association management system. Manage specialized (custom) applications created for the organization. Create ad-hoc reporting using stored procedure, crystal reports and other business intelligence software. Create and execute data scripts such as imports in back-end databases. Contribute to improving applications with regards to responsive technologies and newer coding frameworks/standards. Collaborate with the Webmaster to insure trouble-free integration between the Society’s web pages and the membership database. Develop, implement and monitor automated procedures in the AMS, including creating files for use by outside organizations and importing information from other organizations. Bug fixes and coding enhancements to existing custom software. Respond to staff IT support requests via a ticketing system.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of related technical experience, including: 3 years of experience with Personify; 5 years of experience with SQL; 5 years of experience with MS SQL database application development and Database Administration; 5 years of experience with Business Objects; 1 year of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS); 5 years of experience with .NET Framework; and 5 years of experience with Crystal Reports.
