The Blood Bank QA Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the assessment of quality systems within the Blood Bank Department and Blood Donor Center. Responsible for the design and implementation of processes to improve performance and/or to meet regulatory requirements. Works with transfusion medicine faculty on quality metrics and improvement activities.
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent related field of science. (Required)
Additional training and/or certification (Highly Preferred).
At least 3 to 4 years of related and progressive experience in an accredited healthcare facility, with 1 year of supervisory experience and experience in quality management. (Required)
Experience in quality management includes meeting regulatory/accreditation requirements, performance improvement, quality control and quality assessment.
