A registered nurse who manages the financial, human and other resources for the provision of quality patient care for the donor center, apheresis and photopheresis units. The supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all policies and procedures and for assuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Directs, plans and manages the Donor Center, apheresis and photopheresis units in alignment with accepted standards of practice and the department and hospital goals
Responsible for strategic development: develops staff, services and facilities to meet new and existing needs
Organizes and coordinates services provided, oversees human resources, operations and manages staff and expenses/ budget to maintain the highest standards of care and fiscal ability
Master’s degree preferred - in Nursing Administration preferred
PA RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
5 years of nursing experience required to include 3 years’ experience of hospital clinical practice, and demonstrated leadership management capabilities
Ability to provide effective leadership
Apheresis/ Blood Bank experience required
