The Program Director of the Medical Laboratory Technician Program and Phlebotomist Program is a full-time faculty member who is granted release time to assume additional responsibilities for the leadership, assessment, development, coordination, evaluation, and improvement of the education component of the Medical Laboratory Technician curriculum to meet established standards of National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS), and the Phlebotomist Program curriculum.
Master’s degree, ASCP-BOC generalist certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, documented three (3) years of teaching experience, knowledge of education methods, administration, and accreditation.
Doctorate preferred. Community college teaching and administrative or coordinator experience preferred. Knowledge of National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) policies, standards, and criteria.
