ProHealth Care offers a system-wide laboratory operation with core hospital labs at Waukesha Memorial and Oconomowoc Memorial as well as two clinic-based laboratory sites in Waukesha County and performs over 8 million tests annually.
Our Lab services operate out of state of the art facilities and include clinical testing in the areas of Histology, Cytology, Hematology, Coagulation, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, Transfusion service, EIA, and Molecular Biology. ProHealth Care offers a vibrant outreach program, providing laboratory testing to numerous specialty hospitals, physician offices, and nursing home facilities. The Laboratory has certification and accreditation through the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Joint Commission (JCAHO), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).
Hours: -Lab supervisor 1.0 FTE exempt position; hours variable
-Oversees multiple lab sites to include: OMH, DNG Mukwonago and Pewaukee

The Laboratory Supervisor is accountable for directing personnel and coordinating the daily operations and workflow for defined departments within ProHealth Care Laboratories. This role plans, coordinates, assesses and adjusts patient and/or specimen flow; oversees laboratory accreditation, budget, and productivity. This person is also accountable for working as part of the laboratory leadership team to transform organizational goals and values into everyday practice and ensure a culture of patient safety in accordance with ProHealth Care philosophies, policies, and procedures. The supervisor must have the ability to work at various PHC Lab locations as needed.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, goal-oriented team player with strong clinical/ technical skills. Management experience and strong people skills are required.
- Associate degree in MLT is the minimum required.
- Bachelor degree in MLS or MT is preferred.
- Preferred Technical Experience: 4-6 Years
- Multi-site laboratory management experience
- Three years of Leadership experience required.
- Maintaining the ASCP certification in MLT, MT, or MLS in required.
