The Nemours Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a Supervisor for Blood Bank. Our programs include cardiac surgery, solid organ and stem cell transplantation, hematology/oncology, level 1 trauma, and orthopedic surgery, amongst others.
The successful candidate must be BSMT with at least 3 years management experience.
Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, staff development and evaluations, scheduling, regulatory compliance (AABB, CAP, FDA), quality assurance, budgeting, and continuous improvement activities.
This position reports to clinical laboratory administration and the medical director.
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, required.
Minimum of three (3) years pertinent clinical laboratory experience, with supervisory experience.
Excellent organizational, management, written and verbal communication skills.
