The Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine seeks a physician with broad Clinical Pathology expertise for a full-time ladder faculty position in the Department as a physician at both the Yale New Haven Hospital and the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. The successful candidate would be expected to spend the majority of their time in clinical endeavors; educational and scholarly responsibilities are also an important part of the position. Interest in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine is especially sought but those with interests in all sub-disciplines should consider applying.

Yale New Haven Hospital is a 1,519-bed tertiary referral center, which includes the 200-bed Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, the 76-bed Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital and the 128-bed Smilow Cancer Hospital. It is the flagship member of the Yale New Haven Health System. VA Connecticut Healthcare Systems West Haven campus is a tertiary-care facility located approximately four miles from the main Yale campus. It provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care across Connecticut; its medical research program is the second largest in the VA system.
