The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic Florida is actively recruiting a Transfusion Medicine physician interested in developing a career at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and skill sets in all aspects of Transfusion Medicine including immunohematology, management of transfusion products, apheresis, stem cell collection and processing and regulatory requirements. Qualified candidates should hold an M.D. (or equivalent). In addition, they should be board certified or eligible in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine, CP or AP/CP board certification. Eligibility for Florida medical licensure and eligibility for Assistant or Associate Professor academic rank at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine is required.
