Allentown, Pennsylvania (USA). The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Health Network Laboratories is currently seeking a board certified clinical pathologist with subspecialty training and certification in Transfusion Medicine. Additional training or certification in hematopathology or clinical informatics would be highly desirable.
Health Network Laboratories provides services to Lehigh Valley Health Network as well as many surgery centers and outpatient physician practices and clinics in central and eastern Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will possess the ability to maintain a high level of productivity and service while working collaboratively with clinical colleagues and staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Formal Training/Education: MD or DO degree with successful licensure through the completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or its equivalency. It will be expected that if not currently Board certified the individual will be Board eligible and seek appropriate Board Certification(s) in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) in addition to the appropriate subspecialty certification(s).
