AABB is looking for a Education Compliance Coordinator to coordinate the accurate tracking and reporting of AABB’s certified CME, Clinical Labatories (CA and FL) and MOC educational activities including the annual reports to the ACCME, ABP MOC, ABIM credit providers. Ensures that all required documentation for ACCME, ANCC and ABIM compliance are present and maintained in the AABB Final Activity files. Assists in preparation of materials to support In-Person Meetings and any other activities that CE’s are issued. Responds to inquiries regarding credits and requests for activity certificates.
Coordinates the accurate tracking and reporting of AABB’s certified, CME, CNE and MOC educational activities.
Populates the ACCME PARS reporting template on an ongoing basis, including registration of activities for MOC credit.
Facilitates requests MOC module study sessions at AABB events, live activities and annual meeting.
Participates with members of the Education Division and IT to integrate the tracking, registration and reporting of dual CME/MOC credit into the existing workflow, the ACCME annual PARS report and AABB’s Personify database.
Participates in the implementation process for seamless submission of MOC participant data from the to PARS.
Collects disclosure forms and reviews and approves all AABB CE eligible teaching materials before content is presented in public.
Responds to requests for missing CME/CNE/MOC certificates.
Ensures that all required documentation for ACCME, ANCC and ABIM compliance are present and maintained in the AABB Final Activity files.
Checks for compliance against ACC’s Final Activity File checklist and the ACCME’s Performance-in-Practice Structured Abstract.
Works with Program Managers and other members of the Education Division to collect required activity information, including hard copies of handout materials and syllabi.
Be proficient in managing the speaker management system for the AABB Annual Meeting.
Provides support for Annual Meeting preparation and execution.
Assists with preparation of agenda booklets and other information for on-site meetings.
Assists with logistical planning for on-site meetings including meeting notices, room set-ups and banquet orders.
Serves as point person and responds to credit claim and certificate inquiries post-all meetings or CME activities.
Coordinates upload and reporting of nurse claims and CE Broker including any additional credit types that may be added
Assembles and prepares documentation required during the Self Study period for Re-accreditation
Other duties as assigned.
Education - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Working knowledge of ACCME Criteria and Guidelines.
Advanced knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and database entry skills.
Excellent grammar, writing, communication skills and professional demeanor.
Attention to detail, organization, critical thinking and ability to work well in a team environment with clinicians, executives, contractors, consultants, and other staff.
This position requires sitting (80%), standing (5%), and walking (15%). Additional physical requirements are as follows:
Requires lifting materials of approximately 20-25 lbs.
Often requires computer responsibility which involves extensive use of keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Dayshift hours primarily
Must be willing to travel. Travel and other work related assignments on weekends are possible.
